National Ag Day

In celebration of National Ag Day, we’re highlighting our experience as first-time exhibitors at the World Ag Expo earlier this year. The World Ag Expo is the world’s largest annual agricultural exposition. Held at the International Agri-Center® in Tulare, CA, the 2019 show featured 1,452 exhibitors on 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space. The three-day show hosted 102,878 attendees representing 48 states, the District of Columbia and 65 countries.

Hydretain Team

Ecologel’s Rick Irwin, Jim Spindler and Alberto Aguirre Guzman attended and exhibited to showcase our unique soil water management technology, Hydretain, to the agricultural markets.  With both global and domestic water concerns, Hydretain’s ability to reduce watering requirements while increasing crop yields caught the attention of farmers and distributors worldwide.  In addition, the team introduced Arborjet’s organic certified neem-based insecticide, AzaSol and Eco-1 organic pesticide. These products were of special interest to organic growers.

International Event

The show was excellently attended both domestically and internationally, especially from Central and South America. Rick and Jim were thankful to have Alberto join them in the booth. “Having Alberto from our Colombian office was exceptionally advantageous not only for the Central and South American contacts but also for his language skills for the high number of domestic Spanish speaking attendees,” said Rick.

This show also presented a great opportunity to meet with the agriculture divisions of some of our current Turf & Ornamental distributors. The Ecologel team looks forward to exhibiting again next year.
